CAD Operator - Architectural Certificate Program

The CAD Operator - Architectural Certificate is for students who have successfully completed the Drafting Aide Certificate. This certificate will provide students with the basic knowledge and skills needed to obtain entry level employment with architects and contractors. The certificate emphasizes basic surveying principles, introduction to architectural drawing, mechanical systems, and intermediate 2-D CAD principles

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Program graduates receive an CAD Operator - Architectural Technical certificate of credit, which prepares the graduate for entry-level positions in the architectural and contracting fields.

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

CAD OPERATOR - ARCHITECTURAL CURRICULUM

The standard curriculum for the CAD Operator - Architectural certificate program is designed for the quarter system. Students may enter the program quarterly. The program may be completed in 2 quarters. To graduate, students must earn a minimum of 21 credit hours.
