Graduation Checklist

# Requirement Completed
A. To graduate from Southeastern Technical College, a student must:  
  1. Satisfactory complete all course requirements for the approved curriculum.  
  2. Have an overall graduation GPA of a 2. 0 or higher.  
  3. Complete a minimum of 25% of the course work for the program at Southeastern Technical College.  
  4. Students enrolled in a diploma or degree that earn a 3.75 graduation GPA or higher will be recognized as an honor graduate and will wear an honor cord during the graduation ceremony.  
B. Prior to Graduation:  
  1. Students must complete an Application for Graduation with the Student Services Secretary (Room 104) when they register for their final quarter of classes.  
  2. Students must settle all financial obligations to STC before a degree, diploma, certificate, or transcript will be issued.  
  3. Students must return any items on loan from the College (books, software, etc).  
  4. Transfer of credit or Course Exemption Exams to be applied toward graduation should be requested no later than the first quarter of enrollment.  
  5. Student must present proof of high school or GED completion, except for specified certificate programs.  
C. Warranty Program:  
  "If an employer finds a Southeastern Technical College graduate to be deficient in specific competencies listed in a state standard curriculum within two years of graduation, the student will be retrained at no instructional cost to the student or employer."
