Bookstore Policies

You must show your student ID and class schedule in order to get your books or use financial aid in the bookstore. This policy will be strictly enforced with no exceptions! Online students, please have your student ID ready when ordering books.

You are responsible for the costs of books/supplies once you have exceeded your financial aid voucher. Payment is due upon receipt of books. We accept cash, check, MasterCard, and Visa.

All book returns are to be made before the financial aid cut-off, which is usually the first 4 weeks of the quarter. Make sure you have your receipt with you at the time of your return.

Books that have been highlighted in, written in, soiled, or damaged cannot be returned! We do not accept returns on books which were purchased in previous quarters, unless the student owes outstanding fees to STC, AND the book is new and is still in use in STC's curriculum.

There will be no returns on general merchandise, supplies, or equipment unless it is defective. Make sure to have your receipt with you at the time of your return.

All books purchased in shrink wrap must be returned in the original condition. If the shrink wrap is removed, you will be charged a $10.00 fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!

If you drop a class and your financial aid is affected, please bring the books that you are not using back to the Campus Shop for return. These books must be returned in NEW condition along with the receipt. If these books aren't returned within two weeks of the change of your class, you are responsible for the outstanding fees. If you don't meet the financial obligation, a "hold" will be placed on your account and you won't be able to register or attend STC until the fees have been paid.
