2017 Medical Assistant Pinning Ceremonies
August 17, 2017 – On August 1 and 2, 2017, Southeastern Technical College (STC) presented 25 Medical Assistant (MA) graduates with pins of completion on the Swainsboro and Vidalia campuses, respectfully.
The Swainsboro graduates are Le’Derria Lenon and Breanna Cooper from Swainsboro, Katelyn Oglesby from Millen, Shuquarius Ricks and Brittney Latham from Soperton, Taylor Canty and Michelle Headrick from Twin City, Katherine Stickle from Wadley, La’Toya Jackson, Deidra Jackson, and Angela Hughes from Swainsboro.
The MA graduates from the Vidalia campus are as follows: Dnaria Johnson from Nevils, April Stanfield and Ebony Sharpe from Reidsville, Paige Dozier from Baxley, Heather Barber from Soperton, Britley Lyles, Victoria Wilson, Delettria Whitehead, Kierra Kitchens, and Avilon Brown from Vidalia, Ashley Rollins from Lyons, Carmen Rojas, Marina Cardenas and Nancy Balcazar Lugo from Uvalda.
Instructor Kimberly Brown presented the Swainsboro graduates with their pins as she congratulated them on their success in the program.
“This group of young ladies is very special,” states Kimberly. “They have worked tirelessly to earn this degree and I believe each one of them will be successful in the medical field.”
Student speaker, Paige Dozier, spoke for her fellow Vidalia graduates on the pride and thankfulness they all share from this great accomplishment. She spoke about their instructor, Stephannie Waters, and how her lectures have made such a large difference in her education.
“Thank you for providing endless support to us as we earned our diplomas,” states Paige as she spoke to instructor Stephannie Waters in a letter of appreciation. “You are an inspiring teacher and mentor who has given us so many opportunities to succeed through our education at STC.”
