Danielle Fowler - Dual Enrollment to Dual Degrees
May 7, 2019 - Web Site Design/Development Associate of Applied Science Degree
May 2020 - Information Technology Professional Degree
Danielle began her college journey at age 15 at Southeastern Tech through Dual Enrollment.
When she graduated high school in June 2018, she was three classes short of an Associate Degree in Web Design. Upon completing that program in December, she enrolled in the related I.T. Professionals Degree program.
“I want to encourage high schoolers to go ahead and begin looking into Dual Enrollment. It's something a lot of people put off until their junior or senior year, but the earlier the better! You don't have to pick a program to get started. One of my favorite things about Dual Enrollment is that you don’t have to take the same class in both places. If you take a college algebra class, you do not have to take algebra at high school,” said Danielle. “Dual Enrollment has helped prepare me for continuing my education at a university. The staff at STC is very helpful and so good at what they do! I'm proud to be a Southeastern Technical College graduate!”
Danielle has hopes of working in I.T. at the Air Force base in Warner Robins, Ga. A native of Wheeler County. Her mother and father are both STC graduates and her brother recently began Dual Enrollment classes at STC.
Congratulations Danielle! We are honored that you chose Southeastern Tech!
