Practical Nursing instructor Candi Newton said, “Their compassion and desire to help those that are hurting will be an asset to our community. We know they will make a difference.”
Celester Bacon, Sally D. Meadows Elementary School nurse and mentor, spoke about working with these graduates throughout the year. She said, “We’re all here tonight to celebrate you for your hard work, for your determination, and for your perseverance. Being a former LPN student, I know that what you have recently been through is no easy task, but you’ve done it. So we just want to say congratulations to you.”
