Office of Financial Aid Disbursement Procedures
Generally, students are allowed to use their quarterly financial aid awards to defer their tuition, fees and book charges. The amount of their financial aid award they have not spent is disbursed after the ninth week of the quarter and before the last day of class. Notices will be posted around campus stating the date, time, and place students may pick up their refund check(s). If the student chooses not to pick up their check(s) on the posted day, they will be mailed within one week to the student's last reported address. Students must provide the Business Office with their student identification card when picking up their refund checks.
Adjustments to aid packages and to tuition, fee and bookstore charges may occur when a student fails to complete courses, withdraws, or a course is dropped.
