Welcome to STC - Office of Financial Aid

For more information see the Financial Aid page in the e-catalog

Southeastern Technical College believes that the talent, hopes, and ambitions of our students are important. Collectively, they are among the most valuable resources this nation possesses. With this thought in mind, Southeastern Technical College continues to promote grants, scholarships, and employment opportunities for its qualified, deserving students who must find funds in order to attend.

The fundamental purpose of the financial aid programs at Southeastern Technical College is, therefore, to make it possible for students who would normally be deprived of a postsecondary education, because of inadequate funds, to be able to attend.

Information presented in the links explain the programs offered to assist our students with their college expenses, detail the eligibility requirements for them and describe how to apply for each program.

Click on the 0708 Checklist link to begin your application process. It is critical that you complete or renew your FAFSA as soon as you have your and your parents' (if required) 2006 federal income tax information available. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID ANNUALLY. As soon as you complete your tax return each year, you need to complete your FAFSA.

Students who do not wish to complete the FAFSA application, must complete the new GSFAPPS Online in order to qualify for the HOPE Scholarship/Grant.

The Office is available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:15 pm; Wednesday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm to answer any questions. If you are on our main campus, you are welcome to stop by our office located in the Administrative Building. You also may contact us by phone at (912) 538-3100 or email us at Financial-Aid@southeasterntech.edu. The Office of Financial Aid looks forward to providing assistance as you plan for this very important journey of your educational experience.
