GENERAL OFFICE ASSISTANT
The General Office Assistant certificate program prepares individuals for positions in business office administration.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The General Office Assistant certificate program prepares students for entry-level employment in many different types of office environments with emphasis placed on word processing, keyboarding, and office procedures.
ADMISSIONS CRITERIA
- Submit a completed application and application fee;
- Be at least 16 years of age;
- Submit official high school transcript or GED transcript;
- Submit official college transcripts, if applicable;
- Meet the following assessment requirements:

GENERAL OFFICE ASSISTANT CURRICULUM
The standard curriculum for the General Office Assistant certificate program is designed for the quarter system. Students may enter the program during Fall and Spring quarters. The program can be completed within a student's ability to enroll in classes on a quarterly basis either day, evening or online. The certificate generally takes 2-3 quarters to complete. To graduate, students must earn a minimum of 22credit hours.
