MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS PROFESSIONAL
The Microsoft Office Applications Professional certificate program is designed to provide hands-on instruction for developing foundation skills for office assistant careers.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The Microsoft Office Applications Professional certificate program prepares students for employment in many different types of office environments with emphasis placed on word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
ADMISSIONS CRITERIA
- Submit a completed application and application fee;
- Be at least 16 years of age;
- Submit official high school transcript or GED transcript;
- Submit official college transcripts, if applicable;
- Meet the following assessment requirements:

MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS PROFESSIONAL CURRICULUM
The standard curriculum for the Microsoft Office Applications Professional certificate program is designed for the quarter system. Students may enter the program during Fall and Spring quarters. The program can be completed within a student's ability to enroll in classes on a quarterly basis either day, evening or online. The certificate generally takes 2-3 quarters to complete. To graduate, students must earn a minimum of 22 credit hours.
