Financial Aid

Financial assistance is available to help eligible students pay for their educational expenses at Southeastern Technical College.  Our professional and courteous staff will assist students in applying for the appropriate financial aid programs.

Southeastern Tech believes the primary responsibility for financing education lies first with the student and his/her family (parents or spouse). When the total resources they can provide fail to meet educational expenses, Southeastern Technical College, as a third partner, will provide all assistance possible so the student will not be denied an education.

The information in this section will outline the types of financial assistance available, and specify application procedures, eligibility requirements, when and how financial aid payments are made, and other information pertinent to the overall process.

All students are encouraged to apply. Applications and information, including assistance in completion of forms, are available Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Office of Financial Aid.

Applications for aid must be completed each academic year, which begins in early August and ends in mid-July. Students may complete the necessary application processes for financial aid at various campus locations or complete the applications online.
