Joint enrollment provides high school students with the opportunity to take courses at Southeastern Technical College and receive college credit ONLY for the courses that they complete. Joint enrollment students customarily attend college classes in the afternoon or evening, after they have attended high school an entire day.
Joint enrollment students are allowed to take academic core and program courses for any technical certificate or diploma program in which they are eligible. A portion of tuition and fees may be paid by the HOPE Grant for legal Georgia residents. However, used HOPE hours for joint enrollment are counted toward the maximum paid hours allowance for HOPE. Books and other materials required for the course are the student’s responsibility.
