This workshop is intended for ages 12 and up.
Curt Peters is a Mime artist who trained under students of the legendary Marcel Marceau. He has been working at the craft of mime for the past 25 years.
Mime is a form of physical theatre which involves acting out a story through body motions, without the use of speech. This type of training helps actors learn to use their bodies effectively on stage.
The workshop will cover the basics of mime and the principles of physical theater. You will learn how to use your body to communicate. It is essential training for any stage actor, singer, or dancer. Learn how to become a better actor by learning mime. Mime is still required training at many major acting schools.

Bring comfortable clothes that you will be able to move in and some sneakers.
