Career Services for the Adult Education Department

The Career Services Specialist serves as a support and resource for the Adult Education and English Language Learner students. The CSS works with students by providing career navigation and transition services that focus on;

RECRUITING students using digital marketing, social media, virtual enrollment

RETAINING student by offering distance education opportunities through Blackboard, dual enrollment, North Star Digital Literacy

RESULTS achieved by increasing credentials earned by students such as High School Equivalency, Integrated Education and Training (IET) Certification, Technical Certificates of Credit. If you have completed the GED® Test, you will receive your official scores and diploma within four (4) to six (6) weeks.  If you earned your GED® Diploma in Georgia and need a duplicate or an Official Transcript of your GED® Test scores sent to a school, employer, etc., please visit TCSG’s site to make your GED® transcript request.

REFER now that you have earned your GED®, it’s time to consider your next steps as you plan for your future. Southeastern Technical College’s CSS provides assistance in helping individuals who have earned their GED® diploma to make the successful transition into one of Southeastern Tech’s credit programs. Our CSS will guide you through the admissions process, financial aid, career counseling, and other support services.
