Southeastern Technical College is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Bee Hart as the new Dean of General Education. A long-standing and respected member of the STC faculty, Dr. Hart has served the college for over 22 years, teaching Mathematics, Economics, and Dual Enrollment courses at area high schools.
A native of Toombs County, Dr. Hart brings deep local ties and a steadfast commitment to student success. His leadership will support the continued growth and excellence of STC’s general education programs.
“Having been a part of Southeastern Technical College for over 22 years now, I am excited to continue serving our students, faculty, and other community members in this new role,” said Dr. Hart. “It brings me great joy to see our students attain skills that benefit not only themselves but also our local communities. I have witnessed firsthand how transformative education can be for people, and I feel incredibly fortunate to work with a group of people who are committed to helping students reach the goals they set for themselves. Our faculty and staff are truly among the very best.”
In his new role, Dr. Hart will oversee general education and learning support instruction, assist with program-related accreditation, manage instructional resources, and work alongside fellow deans and the vice president for Academic Affairs to ensure instructional quality and alignment across departments.
