Graduation Ceremony for Spring Graduates

Vidalia Campus – Toombs Auditorium
Please note that this is a tentative date for Graduation. While we want to hold this ceremony, it will depend on COVID-19 infection rates in our area.
Graduation will be live-streamed via the STC Facebook page.
Graduates will receive a limited amount of tickets for guests to attend this Ceremony. ALL people entering an auditorium, regardless of age, MUST have a ticket.
As a reminder, this event will be broadcast live, so that all of your friends and loved ones can watch.
We are requesting that graduates take as many safety precautions as possible. You will be in the line-up area for approximately thirty minutes and then seated in the Toombs Auditorium for Graduation for approximately one hour. The use of masks is strongly encouraged.
Additionally, we encourage graduates to stress to family and friends that if anyone is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and/or is in an at-risk category for infection, they do not attend the Ceremony.
This is after a lot of thoughtful and deliberate consideration of the current COVID-19 situation. It is not our intent to disrupt your Graduation and your celebration plans, instead, it is an effort to make sure the event will still be held. We appreciate your cooperation and assistance as we make these changes.

Information for Guests
- Programs will be available at the door.
- Flash photography is not allowed during the ceremony.
- Applause should be held until all graduates have been called.
- Arrive early to ensure good seating. Doors will close promptly at 6:50 p.m.
- Everyone MUST have a ticket to enter the auditorium.
GRADUATION REHEARSAL
Graduation Rehearsal will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, in the Toombs Auditorium, Vidalia, GA. Graduate attendance is required, as we will discuss the lineup, processional, and/or any additional graduation preparations at this time. Also, graduates will have a chance to familiarize themselves with the location, identify exactly where they need to be, and address any last-minute concerns. This will hopefully ensure an organized and smooth ceremony.
