Frequently Asked Questions

Students enrolled in and attending a participating eligible public or private high school in Georgia or an eligible participating home study program in Georgia. Eligible 11th & 12th grades may enroll in any approved DE courses. Eligible 10th graders may enroll in approved CTAE courses. Eligible 10th graders who have a minimum SAT score of 1200, or a minimum ACT composite score of 26 in a single national test administration may enroll in any approved CTAE and Core Academic courses. Eligible 9th graders may participate in the DE program, however, there is no available state funding for 9th grade students.

YES! DE funding will pay for the first 30 semester hours. The college supplies books.
*Students may be required to pay for course-related supplies or fees.

No! In fact, some of the general education or core classes taken under DE count for the HOPE Scholarship rigor requirement.

Yes! You may participate in all high school related activities, sports, and clubs.

Either! You may choose to enroll in just one DE class or take a full load.

You will need to contact your high school counselor and then one of STC’s representatives, either Mellisa Rowell at mrowell@southeasterntech.edu , Jennifer Johnson at jjohnson@southeasterntech.edu , or Daphne Scott at dscott@southeasterntech.edu

You will need to click the MySTC link on our website and log into your BannerWeb account. You will be prompted to enter your Student ID (9100xxxxx) and password ($TC-mmddyy) unless you’ve updated your password. Click on Student Services and Financial Aid>Registration>Student Detail Schedule.

Look at your syllabus found within your course on Blackboard or contact the Southeastern Tech Dual Enrollment bookstore at lmercer@southeasterntech.edu.

Yes, all students are required to have a student ID on them at all times on campus. You will also use your student ID in the bookstore to check out your books.

You will need to go to the Student Affairs department of either the Swainsboro campus or the Vidalia campus.

Go to MySTC on the STC homepage and click on Student Email. Enter your entire student email address (your student ID number followed by @students.southeasterntech.edu an example is 9100xxxxx@students.southeasterntech.edu) select School or Work Email and enter your password ($TC- followed by your birthdate in 6-digit format MMDDYY an example is $TC-051403). Accept the terms of use and setup your security questions and add your cell phone to your account.

You can either pay online or call the Business office at (912) 538-3154. We have a Business office on both the Swainsboro and Vidalia Campus.

Type ‘Transcript Request’ in the search engine on the STC homepage and follow the steps to order an official transcript through ‘TranscriptsPlus.
