Proctored Testing Services

Southeastern Technical College’s Economic Development Division offers proctored testing services for professional development, license certifications, the indication of job skill readiness, program admission, and pre-employment screening. The Economic Development division maintains testing labs in Vidalia and Swainsboro and has access to testing facilities at other locations.

Pest Control Exams

Exams required by the state of Georgia for all employees who make inspections, propose treatments, apply control procedures, or for any company or self-employed individual engaged in commercial pesticide applications. Exams offered are:

• Commercial Applicators Examination
• Employee Registration Examination
• Certified Pest Control Operator Examination

We offer the Georgia Pest Exam at Southeastern Technical College for Employee Registration, Commercial Application, and Certification.

The purpose of the Commercial and Structural Pest Management Testing System, or more commonly referred to as “the pest exam website”, is to provide a central location that enables examinees and businesses to register themselves or their employees to take licensing and certification exams at their local technical college. By providing these exams close to home and far more frequently than in the past, businesses and individuals save time and money traveling much shorter distances.

The GaPestExam.com website contains descriptions of the different types of exams and the different categories of each type of exam. The website also links to the official Georgia Department of Agriculture (GDA) training materials, rules, regulations, and laws regarding the pest control industry.

Registration is done through www.gapestexam.com by clicking on Register for Exam and choosing Southeastern Technical College for your testing center. We are available for testing Monday thru Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

ServSafe Exams

The National Restaurant Association (NRA) ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is nationally recognized.  Earning your certification tells the industry that you know food safety and the critical importance of its role and enables you to share food safety knowledge with every other employee.

AAB Board of Registry Exams

The AAB Board of Registry is a leading certifying board for Medical Technologists, Embryology Laboratory Scientists, Andrology Laboratory Scientists, Molecular Diagnostics Technologists and Medical Laboratory Technicians.

ISCET Exams

 The International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians is a nonprofit association of certified technicians, chartered in 1965. Certification exams will help you attain your personal and professional goals.

Roadway Testing Technician (RTT) & Quality Control Technician (QCT) Exams

Administer the written portion of the RTT and the QCT certification examinations provided through the GDOT.
