POSITION: Full-Time Student Affairs Technician

LOCATION: Vidalia Campus

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Southeastern Technical College is seeking an individual to provide administrative assistance to the Student Affairs office. This individual will also be responsible for various duties to include typing, data entry, maintaining files, and telephone and front desk assistance. This position will report to the Vice President for Student Affairs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A completed associate degree or diploma from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university or applicant is currently enrolled and in the process of completing a degree or diploma. A baccalaureate degree from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university is preferred. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must also demonstrate skills in word processing, experience with various software programs, and the ability to work well with others and organization skills.

SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary is to be commensurate with education and work experience. Benefits include paid state holidays, annual leave and sick leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits package.

Southeastern Technical College campuses will be closed this week, Sept 30-Oct 4. 

 

It is our intention to open again on Monday, October 7, but that is contingent on multiple circumstances. We will make updates on our College social media accounts, the STC website, & via email as we know more.

The College will be UNABLE to distribute Pell checks this week. We are working diligently to resume normal operations as soon as possible. It is our hope to distribute these funds the week of October 7. We apologize for any inconvenience & appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.
